2010 NCAA Tourney time!

It's that time of year again! I just had a great birthday and am getting very pumped up to see the action (or madness! haha) of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament starting tomorrow! I have filled out my bracket and I'm hoping for the best! In the projected "most exciting" or "biggest" game of the first day of the tourney, I think that Florida and BYU will be fighting and fighting with the lead being changed at least 25 times throughout the game. It should be a great game. Even though I represent the SEC, I have picked BYU to win closely by single digits. If you would like, you can tell me your prediction for tomorrow! Happy March Madness and good luck on your brackets!
As always, ROLL TIDE ROLL!!

Hey there, Strangers!!

Hello again, World!!
I'm finally back on my blog after 14 months on a flight south for the winter. (as you can see from the date of my last posted blog. haha) Anyway, there have been a couple of big changes in my life since the last time I posted.
1. I graduted from Walker High School on May29, 2009.
2. I continued taking classes at BSCC during the summer of 2009.
3. In August of 2009, I moved to the great city and home of the 2009 National Champs, Tuscaloosa, Al.
4. I enrolled as a student at the University of Alabama majoring in civil engineering.
and
5. My sister, Lacey, turned 15 and got her driver's permit. (Watch out!)

As you can see, there were a number of pretty big changes that have happened over the last year. I have a very busy life because of these big changes. However, I somehow managed to remember my password to my blog and got back to typing away! I hope everyone is doing well.
*Be sure to comment on this post to let me know that you are still there! lol!

The only bad part of Thanksgiving.

I know that after reading my title, u may think I'm crazy! I mean how can any part of Thanksgiving be bad? All the food, family, and a week off of school is so great! Well if you take off from school, u also have to go back at some point. And that's it, the only bad part of Thanksgiving.
So yesturday was my first day back, and what a day it was! I was loaded up in every class with tons of work and notes! Especially in Chemistry! Wow! I thought I would never get through the day! However, I eventually did.
Today was a little better, except for Chemistry. I had a test that took 2 hours to take! And it was only 10 questions! It was pretty rough, but I felt pretty good about it. Hopefully my grade will reflect how I feel like I did! LOL! But other than that class, it was back to normal in that u learn through lectures and then get a ton of homework to do based on that lecture! Wish me luck! LOL!
By the way, jazz and I started an eBay store over the week off and listed a bunch of items! Our account name is sunshinesellers9091! So check it out sometime if u want!
The most important thing that happened over the holidays is that the Alabama Crimson Tide beat the auburn tigers in a shutout with a score of 36-0! This is the biggest shutout of the iron bowl since 1962! Auburn had been looking for their 7th consecutive win over the tide. The loss the got 7 alright. But just not the 7 they wanted. They recieved their 7th loss of the season, which finishes off their season with a losing 5-7 record and no bowl to play in! Good year tigers! However, on the opposing side, the win gave the Tide their 12 win of the season and the abilitly to retain their top ranking in the nation for yet another week. They are now headed to Atlanta to play in the SEC championship game against Florida. I'm really excited because Im a huge Alabama fan and I can't wait to c the Tide give Florida their 2nd loss of the season! ROLL TIDE!!

RELIEVED!!

Over the past couple of weeks, it has been quite a stressful time. Just never slowing down and constantly busy along with unanticipated things occurring. But finally, I am RELIEVED for 2 major reason:
1. Most importantly, I am so relieved that Jasmine is ok from her recent wreck on Tuesday. I haven't seen pictures or anything, but from what she has told me, it was a pretty big and serious wreck! Most of you probably have already heard how it happened, but for those who haven't I will give a brief description.
She was on her way to work, sitting at a red light waiting on it to turn green. So she looked up and realized the light had been green for approximately 10 seconds! So she started a left hand turn when out of nowhere an 18-wheeler going about 60 or 65 mph, T-boned the front, driver's side of the car! Luckily, it didn't hit her door. I told her this the first time that I am actually glad that she wasn't paying attention, because if she would've pulled out right when it turned green, she could be seriously injured and might not be here today! She is fine, however, just sore from the impact of the collision. Jazz, i just want you to know that I LOVE YOU more than nething and that I can't imagine life without you! I honestly would not be able to make it without! I am so thankful that God was on our side and you weren't hurt! Take care of yourself and get better or else you'll be in big trouble!! LOL!
Btw, Jared, if u are reading this, it's all your fault and you should be ashamed of yourself! J/K! But it was ironic though!

2. Secondly, I finally finished up my research paper for school and turned it in today! When I handed it in, I felt 100 pounds lighter! And on top of that, I got 50 points added on to my grade for turning it in 2 days early! I was really proud of myself and hopefully my grade will turn out good! I'll let you know when I get it back!

Well there's an update of my crazy life! I just try to take it one step at a time! Be Back Soon with another episode!

Busy as a fat kid eating cake!

I know my title to this post might be odd, but it's most definitely not an exaggeration. That explains why it's taken so long to update. But now it's the weekend and I can actually take a breath!

Well, school has been going okay. Just a chaotic atmosphere at Walker High due to our football team's success. I believe we're ranked 7th in the state and we' re currently, as I type, winning our 2nd round play-off game against Central Tuscaloosa 35-6 at halftime! Not only is whole school fired up, our whole community is as well. You can't find a recent Daily Mountain Eagle issue and not find an article of Walker Football somewhere in the Sport section. Hopefully, we'll hold on and stay in it another week or maybe even week"s"! Go Vikes '09!

In the news of my college team, of course being the Alabama Crimson Tide, I couldn't complain for a million bucks! We're 10-0 and the number team in the nation! We are ahead of LSU in the SEC West by 3 games, which gives us a definite ticket to the SEC Championship game on December 6 in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome. Our last visit to that stadium resulted in a season-opening upset over No. 9 Clemson. I have a good feeling that Dajavu will occur and we'll do it again. All I got to say is ROLL TIDE and get ready for a beating Mississippi State!

So I'm over here at Jasmine's house and I am now relieved. After realizing earlier this week that I could cook a decent meatloaf (not to brag), Jazz asked me to cook one for her and her family! Well, I said sure, I'll give it a try! So this afternoon after school, I got some ingredients and went to work on my first job as a chef. I cooked meatloaf, baked potatoes, green beans, and rolls, with a big glass of Milo's sweet tea. Finally the moment was here, and the suspense was to the maximum. Everyone took their first bite. And I'll post later on to tell you the rest................................................JK! Believe it or not, everyone enjoyed it! I was so relieved! I felt like I lost 200 pounds! Whew!
"This has the best flavor!" was the first words to come from Mary's mouth! I was so excited! And then from nowhere, "This potato is the bestest ever!" exclaimed Addi. After hearing those compliments, that is the best I have felt in a long time! In my opinion, I do think I did exceptionally well considering that was my first full-meal! LOL!

Well I hope everything is going okay with everyone! I would like to say to Katie that it absolutely broke my heart to hear the news! I'm so sorry! If you need anything AT ALL! Just let me know! You're in my prayers!

I'll try my hardest to update as often as I can, but then again, you can't trust me! LOL!

Just Waiting! LOL!

hello again!

Whew! What a week! This week it seemed like I had a lot more tests at school than other weeks. I had About 6 in Chemistry, 3 in Government, and about 2 in English! I thought I would never make it! I think my teachers were kind of lazy this week because you know when they give tests, they don't have to teach, just watch for sneaky little cheaters (which are plentiful at Walker High School!). But Jazz was in Curry this morning on some art field trip and she stopped and got us something to eat and swung by the school to eat lunch with me! It was great! I loved it! We rarely ever get to see each other during the week, so when we do get to, it makes my day and my week! So Jazz actually turns out to be a hero by getting there right before I pulled all of the hair out of my head! LOL! Fortunately, I made it though! So after school, I just went home got a shower and took off to Jazz's! On the way over, I stopped by Billy's shop and found gas for $2.64 at the gas station next to it! So I definitely filled it up! It only took me $57! Which I know seems like alot to many, but I loved it! I havn't that little in a very long time! So, I'm at her house now just waiting on her to get off work so we can go eat at Deerman's!! Im really excited and really hungry! I wish time would go by faster! AHHHH!!!! But anyway, that's how my week has been and sorry that it has taken so long to blog again, it's just been a crazy one! BBS! (Be Back Soon)

Hello world!

Hey everyone! I'm back! And I may seem like a complete stranger to you, but I promise I will try my best to keep this blog updated as often as possible!

So we just got home from the opening day of the fall meeting. Our speaker is Keri Richardson from the Northport congregation and he is outstanding! After services we had an amazing lunch! If there was an award to the best meal congregation, Sylvan Springs would get GOLD! You can always depend on the talented cooks from Sylvan Springs to fill you up! I had chicken fingers, mac and cheese, corn casserole, squash casserole, green beans, black-eyed peas, BBQ meatballs (by the way, I need to know the person who cooked the meatballs because they need a big pat on the back!), and a roll. For dessert, I had a pumpkin roll, coconut cake, and chocplate pie! And let me tell you, I am about to explode! Gluttony almost took overtook me! LOL!

So anyway, if I can ever recover from my lunch, I think Jazz and I are gonna wash my truck before the area-wide devo tonight! Well I reckon that's all for now folks!
